4.     Can I offer Okuru gift cards alongside my existing business gift card program? 

Absolutely! The Okuru Partner Program is designed to complement your existing business. You can regard Okuru as another avenue to increase the revenue and cash flow of your business.


5.     What types of businesses are eligible to participate? 

All In-Person Businesses, for example Yoga & Pilates studios, Sports or Wellness massage clinics, Hair and Nail salons, Restaurants & Cafes, Florist and Gift shops, Fashion boutiques, Gourmet food shops, Day trip tour operators, Bed and breakfast businesses, Pet care facilities, Garden centres, amongst others, can join the Okuru Partner Program.


6.     What happens when a customer purchases our gift card? 

When a customer purchases your gift card via the Okuru App, we will retain 5% of the face value of your gift card and refund you the 95% to your designated bank account within 7 working days.  Okuru will cover all credit card fees and administrative costs so you don't have to.


5% per gift card sold gives you all the above benefits.

No risks, no upfront investment, no monthly subscriptions.


7.     Is there any training or support provided? 

Yes, Okuru offers training and support to retailers. You’ll receive guidance on using the app effectively and maximizing its benefits.


8.     How do I redeem gift cards through the Okuru Partner App? 

Partners can easily scan and redeem gift cards purchased through the Okuru Application using the Okuru Partner App that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store onto a mobile phone. 


  1. Can I create in house gift cards for my business to give as complimentary gifts to staff and clients?

At this point, Okuru is not built for businesses to create in house gift cards for complimentary distribution. Gift cards created by our Okuru Partners are designed to be sold on the Okuru Consumer App. As a workaround, the Okuru Partner could create and purchase their own gift cards for gifting. But they will have to abide by Australian Consumer Law regulations of having a 3 year validity period for each gift card.
