Effective Period: Friday, December 19, 2025 to Wednesday, December 24, 2025 (11:59 PM AWST, GMT+8)

1. Promotion Overview

1.1. During the promotion period specified above, eligible users who purchase gift cards through the Okuru mobile application will receive a bonus of 25% reward points calculated on the face value of each qualifying gift card purchase.

1.2. This promotion is offered by Okuru and applies to all gift card purchases made through the official Okuru app during the specified promotional period.

2. Eligibility

2.1. This promotion is open to all registered Okuru app users who make qualifying gift card purchases during the promotion period

2.2. Users must have a valid, active Okuru account in good standing to participate.

2.3. Gift cards must be purchased for personal use. Okuru reserves the right to disqualify accounts engaged in fraudulent activity, reselling, or commercial use.

3. Reward Points Calculation

3.1. Bonus reward points are calculated as 25% of the face value of each qualifying gift card purchased during the promotion period.

Examples:

  • Purchase a $100 gift card → Receive 25 reward points
  • Purchase a $200 gift card → Receive 50 reward points
  • Purchase a $50 gift card → Receive 12 reward points

3.2. Reward points are calculated in the same currency as the gift card purchase.

3.3. Partial points are rounded down to whole numbers and will be credited to user accounts.

4. Reward Points Distribution

4.1. Bonus reward points will be credited to the user's Okuru account 48 hours after the purchase transaction is completed.

4.2. The 48-hour waiting period allows Okuru to verify payment processing and ensure transactions are legitimate and will not be rejected or reversed by payment processors (including PayPal).

4.3. Users will receive a notification once their bonus reward points have been successfully credited to their account.

4.4. Reward points will only be issued for purchases where payment has been successfully processed and verified.

5. Using Reward Points

5.1. Users can redeem their accumulated reward points to offset future gift card purchases on the Okuru app.

5.2. Maximum Redemption Limit: There is a maximum 30% redemption limit per transaction, calculated as follows:

Example 1:

  • User wants to buy a $100 gift card and has 10 reward points
  • The user can use all 10 points to reduce their purchase price
  • New purchase price: $90

Example 2:

  • User wants to buy a $100 gift card and has 40 reward points
  • Maximum points that can be used: 30 points (30% of $100)
  • The user can use 30 points for this purchase
  • Remaining 10 points can be used for future purchases
  • New purchase price: $70

5.3. Reward points cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to other users.

5.4. Reward points earned during this promotional period will expire 6 months after award.

6. Currency & Cross-Border Transactions

6.1. Reward points are issued in the currency of the country where the gift card purchase is made.

6.2. Reward points must be redeemed in the same currency in which they were earned.

6.3. A user cannot use reward points earned in one currency (e.g., AUD) to offset a purchase made in a different currency (e.g., USD, SGD, GBP, CAD, NZD).

6.4. Users who transact in multiple currencies will have separate reward point balances for each currency.

7. Cancellations, Refunds & Disputes

7.1. If a gift card purchase is cancelled, refunded, or disputed after reward points have been issued, Okuru reserves the right to immediately revoke the corresponding bonus reward points from the user's account.

7.2. If the user's reward point balance becomes negative as a result of a revocation, the negative balance must be settled before future reward points can be earned or redeemed.

7.3. Purchases made with fraudulent payment methods or that result in chargebacks will result in immediate revocation of all associated reward points and may lead to account suspension.

8. General Terms

8.1. Okuru reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this promotion at any time without prior notice.

8.2. Okuru reserves the right to disqualify any user who violates these terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent, abusive, or inappropriate behavior.

8.3. This promotion cannot be combined with other promotional offers unless explicitly stated by Okuru.

8.4. Okuru's decision on all matters relating to this promotion is final and binding.

8.5. By participating in this promotion, users agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

8.6. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
